Installation Process

STep 1 - Free Consultation

Here at pelican pools in palm coast, we understand that attention to detail matters and that’s why we offer a thorough free consultation. We start by gathering information using our pool questionnaire. We ask that you submit photos of your backyard, home,  and a copy of your completed survey. We use this to start to create the framework of the 3D rendering and hardscape design to scale. When completed a member of our staff will reach out to schedule a visit and walk through to be sure we meet and exceed your expectations of transforming your outdoor space.

STEP 2 - 3D Rendering & Design

Our team at Pelican Pools strongly believes if using visual tools to build out the back yard of your dreams. We use these tools to accurately represent the start of the project and help you visualize how it will look. We may discover space to add on another feature you didn’t think you had room for or avoid taking up too much of the yard space you want to keep. Our clients are always surprised after the project is completed of how accurate our renderings are.

STEp 3 - Design Approval 

Now that we have agreed on the design. We now can supply you with the formal quote for your review. This will itemize the pool with additional features like water features and decking chosen. Once approved we will send a contract to get started we will send a contract to get started

Pools up to 30’ in length include: 

  • Transportation • Excavation & Installation
  • Energy Efficient Variable Speed Pump
  • Cartridge Filter
  • LED light
  • Permitting
  • Plumbing
  • Equipment Pad
  • Electrical (hook up to equipment location) 

Pools Over 30’ in length include: 

  • Upgraded Variable Speed Pump
  • Upgraded Cartridge Filter
  • Additional LED Light

Pool Shell & Spa Combinations Also Include:

  • Pool heater
  • Additional LED Light

STEP 4 - Installation 

Our team will be reaching out to work on your timeline. To be as efficient as possible we will send a prep check list to help avoid any unnecessary delays and having you enjoy your pool as soon as possible.


A timeline moving forward can be very due to inspections & deliveries that take place during the installation.

  • First will be the excavation -  getting the hole ready for the shell delivery.
  • Then the shell will be delivered and placed in the hole, leveled and we will start back filling.
  • Then plumbing, and pool equipment and electrical hookup will be done.
  • We'll then pour our concrete collar and prep for your decking installation.
  • The installation of your pools coping, lights and the decking installed.




Once the installation is completed our team offers a free “pool school” to help explain how everything works. We also provide our techs direct number to answer any questions while you are getting acclimated to your beautiful new pool!
